Sean Hopkins Film-
Sean created a film about a relationship between two brothers. I really enjoyed the story and the look of the film. Sean created a well-constructed story just by using a voice-over. The voice-over was very well done. Not just the quality of it, but the tone and mood of the speaker was also very good. He utilized different camera movements and principles of design which added another positive aspect to the film. One thing I would take away from the film is the quality of the voice-over and the use of other sound effects.
Noah Joseph's Film-
Created a film about a game show he made. I was a part of the filming process and was able to see how Noah creatively designed a game show. From the game itself to the punishments Noah was able to create an entertaining game show. Another aspect of the film that I really enjoyed was the editing. The introduction of the film with different still shots of the punishments was very well done. I also thought the use of different camera angles and the punishment titles were good.
Aliyah Alvarez Writing-
Aliyah's project was a screenplay that she wrote. The screenplay was an adaptation of a novella she wrote. I thought her story was very well written and the conversations in the screenplay flowed well. The dialogue between the characters was natural. I enjoyed hearing people read it in class. Learning to create a story and dialogue like that is something I wish to get better at.
