Monday- Made a list of film ideas
Tuesday- Settled on a film idea
Wednesday- Discussed film idea with Noah. We both just bounced ideas off of each other.
Thursday- Started storyboard
Friday- Finished storyboard and started the script.
Props and Costume investigation-
I plan to use props and costumes for my first film, so I did an investigation on the importance of props and costumes. I read an article and watched a short video explaining the importance of the two. It is true that props and costumes help the film from a visual perspective, but their importance is much greater than that. Props and costumes are able to become symbols for a character in a film. They are also able to invoke emotion from the audience. They can help promote certain themes like death, life, greed, etc. They can even be used to move the plot forward. Props and costumes are never just there so an actor can look good or have something to play with. They are there to help tell a story and create a way for the audience to relate to the film.
